Harriet is a Senior Consultant in H/Advisors Cicero’s UK Public Affairs team, working predominantly with financial services clients.
Harriet joined the team from the Financial Conduct Authority where she spent four years in Supervision, Policy and Competition, working in retail banking, consumer credit and customer vulnerability. At the FCA Harriet was an active Mental Health Champion, member of the FCA’s gender network Balance and the Speakers Club where she spoke about violence against women.
Also during her time at the FCA, Harriet was seconded to HM Treasury, where she spent 17 months in the Economic Secretary’s Office. In this time, she supported three different ESTs execute their role as Assistant Private Secretary on a wide variety of policy and stakeholder management, covering sectors including insurance, retail banking, fintech, financial inclusion and mortgages. Harriet also has experience working for an MP in Westminster, and the charity sector, where she worked on accessibility in financial services.
